William's Landing is a shared ownership cottage community nestled amongst the trees on a 47-acre spectacular property on Kashagawigamog Lake.  We are located a short 15 minutes from Haliburton and 20 minutes from Minden.  Just 18 cottages are spread-out along 3,000 feet of rugged and beautifully treed shoreline. All cottages are freestanding and have three bedrooms (sleeps 8), two bathrooms, HD satellite TV, 2 porches (one screened-in), gas fireplace, laundry room, and more. Four classic models – some pet-friendly, all professionally maintained and cleaned weekly. Each cottage is right on the lake, and most cottages enjoy western exposure. With its fabulous hiking trails, 4 docks, and a beach. William’s Landing is true paradise for those inspired by nature and seeking the ultimate cottage experience.  

Ownership at William’s Landing offers the traditional pleasures of cottage living without the typical responsibilities associated with conventional cottage ownership. Your equity share in the property has the potential to increase in value, but most importantly, you have a private cottage retreat where you, your family, and friends can escape the city to relax, play, experience the beauty of nature, and create cherished memories.

The fractional or shared-ownership cottages at William's Landing were built between 2002 & 2003. All shares were quickly sold. A board of directors made up of owners provides ongoing management and supervises operation of the site.  A professional, experienced, local management company provides ongoing services, such as weekly cottage cleaning, regular maintenance, and everything else necessary to make the William’s Landing experience enjoyable and stress-free.

William’s Landing has a healthy reserve fund based on a professional engineering study conducted by an independent 3rd party.  A single annual fee pays for everything – taxes, utilities, insurance, maintenance, plus a contribution to the reserve fund.  Financial records are available to owners, and the Association holds an annual general meeting at which all members are welcome.
